After subscribing to "healthy" magazines for years, I finally found what I was looking for in Alternative Medicine magazine. Articles range from so many topics, from herbal remedies for colds to health conscious cosmetic companies. Recipes that anyone can do. References to practitioners, companies, websites, and even schooling. That's just this month. Recipes and Classifieds are what I look forward to every month. The companies that they focus on are right around the corner. I found a few shops in my area so I don't have to mail order. This isn't a magazine just dedicated to one particular topic. Ads pertain to all aspects of health, not fashion. Not only do I have a subscription, but I also bought one for my physicians' waiting room.

Alternative Medicine Magazine is the best magazine for the latest and most accurate information on alternative health issues. The other health magazines are more influenced by the pharmaceutical and food industries and you see the same slanted data and misinformation we have been subjected to for decades. Even the ads are enjoyable as they are resources for products, services, and information you can’t get anywhere else.

For anyone interested in choosing to lead a healthy lifestyle, Alternative Medicine Magazine is the magazine for you!! While I realize that doctor's visits are sometimes needed this magazine helps you keep your body in tip top shape to hopefully make those doctor visits less frequent. Everything you need to know about what to eat and what vitamins you need are here. My favorite section is where "alternative" practitioners are listed by state, local and specialty. This gives you a great resource when looking for practitioners in your area. I believe everyone wants to be healthy and this magazine is a great tool in achieving this goal.

I am so excited to receive Alternative Medicine magazine. I am currently practicing a lot of alternative medicine for my autistic son. So I am very interested in having a "handbook" of information to take with me while I ride in my car or take breaks at work. I have seen this magazine at the Health food store and it has lots of great info and new places to look for product. I plan to take it to my Bio-med meetings once a month. I have subscribed to many "health" magazines in the past but I have only renewed my subscription to one: Alternative Medicine Magazine
Unlike most "health" magazines, this magazine has truly useful and up to date information, articles, success stories, etc. I have given gift subscriptions of Alternative Medicine Magazine to all of my health-minded friends, and they LOVE it!
One of my favorite articles (January 2006 issue) was about the harmful ingredients in popular beauty products. This magazine is very informative and I look forward to every issue!

Alternative Medicine is a terrific magazine for anyone who is pursuing alternative health options as opposed to sticking with main stream medicine. If you have a health condition that you are trying to overcome or just a desire to lead a healthier, more informed lifestyle, this magazine is for you. It covers everything from natural options to hormone therapy to safer choices in choosing food and natural remedies. Even the advertising is informative; I have found several products that I now use that came to my attention through advertising in this magazine.
